I am enthusiastic and motivated in each lesson so that others are inspired to be the same.
I contribute as best I can to my learning, sticking to the task, especially when I find it difficult.
I help others feel part of Kilwinning Academy by being friendly, respecting them and including them.
I set challenging targets in my learning and do everything I possibly can to achieve or even surpass those targets, including learning on my own and with others.

Our Integrated Support department aims to ensure that our young people are afforded the highest levels of appropriate support and intervention as and when required. The principles of GIRFEC underpin our daily practice and thus our Team Around the Child approach promotes consistent collaboration and partnership working, resulting in improved pupil outcomes. Relational, restorative, nurturing approaches are at the heart of our interactions with all stakeholders and indeed we aim to promote and demonstrate the school values in all that we say and do.
